Message its an install on a Z that is riding on OEM wheels. There goes that theory.

2ndly, to address the heavy wheel issue...my Zs ride has been considerably MORE comfortable then with my previous OEM wheels. No change in suspension.

3rdly, many manufacturers who choose OEM 18s, 19s, even 20s still retain an extremely comfortable ride while retaining the ability to handle curves on a highway with ease. Think BMW 335xi, Jaguar XKR, MB S63AMG. All which I have access to and have /driven ridden in on the same roads as the Z with the SPLs. Personally, I am trying to reproduce such a ride experience in my own Z, and therefore am actively searching for the answer.

There is no install error on the SPL coilovers. It is my opinion that they are absolutely not suitable for less than perfect road conditions on a DD basis, unless you can handle a jarring teeth chattering ride. end of story.
